Spouse can stay in the country as far as her/his 485 has been applied before EB primary got a GC and after EB primary PD was current.
It WILL matter if while filing 485 EB & EB dependents have to use EB PD & FB PD respectively because then it could happen that EB primary got GC but EB dependent was never able to file 485.
In most cases it WON'T matter if while filing 485 EB & EB dependents can both use EB PD.
So if EB Dependents can use FB Quota but EB PD that would be really good for us. Off course clarification from attorney is always a good idea.

GOP as well DNC are all chasing the mass votes of illegals and their USC relatives.
At least Bush Administration was sympathetic to our cause. Everyone knows that this is a congressional fix but alteast Bush never came up with those anti-H1b policies to destabilize people in GC queue. Now these numbers have retrogressed in month of June when historically this has never happened. Obama is trying to woo people at the cost of Indian community.
Everyone knows Durban & how he has lately tried to screw Indian community and Obama is a good friend of Durban. Now Democrats are in majority , why have they not fought for your cause ? I have a bad feeling about IVs goals. Are you only concerned about getting the GC backlogs cleared? or are you going to be asking for H1b related issues to be addressed too? eg:- H1b renewal after the 6th year is an issue any moron could easily understand and pass. That has been there for many years and should continue for a successful H1b program. Please take care of that issue too. I dont see that included in the letter you have prepared to be sent out to all the senators. Please do that urgently. This is a very techinical issue and can easily be campaingned for. Pls dont ignore it.
If the number 3 in the letter has something to do with H1b renewal, pls reword it and make it clear, however, Idont believe its related to h1b renewal atall.

In Fox News this afternoon, the senator has explicitly said that the Chicago lady does not have any "constituional rights" since she is not American citizen. Go figure what they think about us.
Congressman is absolutely worng. I hope they give such statements more and more and put their big foot into their even bigger mouth. once a h1/f1 etc visa has been issued to an individual, that individual has the right to be treated the same way as any other american till the time of his/her stay in the USA.
