hi applied for 485/ ead and ap on Aug 1st to NSC. I received Ead cards and finger printing complete. But no RN's for any of the 3 applications and no AP yet :-(. Can't even find out AP file number since lawyer used money order to file.

If I may suggest it may help our funding drive if we allow smaller contributions. (20$ or 10$) both recurring and one time.
I know at least a couple of people who would do a 20$ 2-3 times a year but won't do a $50. Anecdotal but may hold true for a lot more people.

I thought I will share my experience with all members who are facing processing delay for their I-140. My I-140 was filed at NSC on March 21, 2007 and got transferred to TSC on May 21, 2008. Since then, I see no activities (I believe TSC was treating transfer date as receipt date and they didn’t bother to look at my case). On July 29, 2008, I asked my Lawyer to initiate the inquiry about the delay and his paralegal took the “service center request” from USCIS for my I-140 and service center issued a confirmation number (ETCXXXXXXXXXXXXX) for further inquiry.
Within 10 days of initiating the inquiry, my case was approved on August 9, 2008. Please do so if you think it will help.

I believe some top-level IV core members are EB3-I with PD 2003-04. So it is hard to believe that they are not worried watching "U" month after month and don't want to do anything about it. But as IV-Core they can not just do something for EB3-I. We need to find a way to fix this issue without creating another subgroup for EB3-I and take advantage of IV movement.

I know the number of applicants will be high. My guess is around 200k for EAD applications. Remember, some people (like me) will have BEC case & PERM case. So there is a chance for double count.

I understand from your signature that you Receipt date is 7/2/07. was your case transferred to Vermont or something and transferred back to TSC. Do you know what was the Receipt date mentioned in the Transfer Notice. I am just trying to guess when they may come to my case. My receipt date for 485 was from Vermont and is 7/31/07. But then it was transferred back to Texas and this has a Receipt date of 10/1/07. I am just trying to find out which Receipt date will be considered to pre-adjudicate my application. Thanks.

Looks like magic........Whoever has been working on my case from the past three months made a huge reversal decision in just a few hours on 05/14/2009 afternoon with atmost attention........I like this sudden surge in commitment and care on my case.......

He/she has contributed before or will contribute for the first time. He/she thinks we are a bunch of serious people, who will get the job done, but too serious for his/her company.
That is not the case at all. To prove it, here is a joke for you, to make you pull the trigger, amused and probably laughing.

I am in a similar boat I got by second 140(EB2) approved this week. How do I know if my date is ported? Acutually I dont care about porting date I just want to find out if my new approved 140 is now referrencing my 485(filed under EB3) filed in July 2007.

b. RFE - April 2009 (Birth Certificate related for me and Medical related for my wife)
4. Perm
a. Same company. By 2011, I was promoted multiple times and currently managing multiple projects. Every H1b that was approved after 2003 clearly showed the growth and the promotion on the job title and salary.
b. Filed - Feb 9 2011 (Progressive growth within the same company, Title: Project Director)
c. Approved - Feb 15 2011
5. EB2 I140 (TSC)

what king meant was that anyone could apply for 485 and get an EAD which has no work restrictions as a H1 and enjoy the same benifits someone with a GC holds..down the line(after years of wait) even if the 485 gets rejected he/she has njoyed all the privilages or work/travel by getting his/her AP/EAD...

King's statement doesn't make any sense. If you equate the same logic to GC holders, then they had enjoyed all the privileges of work/travel by getting his/her GC, even if their naturalization gets rejected down the line.

This is irrespective of what the visa bulletin says..and is called in CIS parlance as pre-adjudication if the PD is not available.("pre" as in adjudication before a visa number is available).
Such files that have undergone adjudicator review/FBI name and fingerprint as well as IBIS checks and are complete in all other respects but for visa# are now placed in separate area shelf for quickly assigning #'s, stamping, signing and ordering cards when PD is current for such petitions.
So the work of reviewing files goes roughly in FIFO order (that is based on RD) all round the year whether the bulletin says C, U, A, B or JAN01STONEAGE!
